Accommodation

House

The house is in Velka Lomnica, a village situated between Poprad and Kezmarok. Poprad is one of the main tourist centres in the High Tatras. Velka Lomnica is only 10 minutes drive from Poprad.

The house is centrally-heated throughout and will sleep 13 people; in addition, there are four small double sofa-beds that can be used for casual visitors. There are 5 bedrooms, which are either equipped with a large wardrobe or drawer units; some bedrooms have both.

Bedrooms

Bedrooms 1 and 2 share an ensuite bathroom and will sleep 5 people; bedroom 1 has one double bed, and there are three single beds in bedroom 2. This suite is ideal for a family. The balcony in Bedroom 1 provides excellent views of the High Tatras.

Bedrooms 3 and 4 each have an ensuite bathroom and two single beds, and are both self-contained.
Bedroom 5, on the middle floor, has a double bed. The bathroom and toilet are adjacent to the room, but are not self-contained.
Bedroom 6 is on the lower floor and has a double bed. The toilet is adjacent to the room. There is a door leaving to the garden.

Lounge

The lounge is large and furnished with a number of sofas and armchairs. A satellite TV provides a variety of premium channels broadcasting in English, German, Slovak, Czech and Polish.

Kitchen

The kitchen is very spacious and has new equipment installed. There is a large fridge/freezer which provides enough space to hold food and a few beers and bottles of wine!! Cooking facilities include a cooker and a microwave oven, and a lot of preparation space. There is a dishwasher which is a very attractive facility after an evening meal at home!
Basic cooking ingredients are also provided, as are tea and coffee.
There is a dining table for four people in the kitchen if you wish to eat informally.

For more formal meals the dining room, overlooking fields to the back of the house, offers space for 12 people to dine comfortably.

Utility room

The utility room has a washer/drier installed and also provides a sink for hand-washing and drying space for clothes.

Storage room

Downstairs, the garage storage facility gives you the opportunity to store skis, snowboards and other outdoor equipment. This room is centrally heated and can be used as a supplementary facility to the drying area in the utility room.

Garden

Outside there is a front garden with space to park cars by the side of the house; the back garden is larger and has a summer house for parents to relax while their children play football!
