Directions
There are many ways to travel to our house in Vel'ka Lomnica.
Car - If you travel by a car, simply head to Poprad and then use the directions you have in the frame on the left. Although car hire in Slovakia is cheap compared to most of Europe, check that you have full insurance. You will also need to pay extra if you want to take the car out of Slovakia, and you must disclose that when you book the car to ensure you have insurance outside the country

Plane - If you arrive in Poprad by air you will need to hire a car and have the opportunity to travel around the immediate area.
With EasyJet -->
- You can fly to Krakow from London Gatwick and London Luton, Belfast, Bristol, Dortmund, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Paris Charles de Gaulle.
With Ryanair -->
- You can fly to Bratislava from Alicante, Barcelona, Birmingham, Bologna, Bristol, Brussels (Charleoi), Dublin, Dusseldorf (Weeze), Edinburgh, Frankfurt-Hahn, Girona (Barcelona), Liverpool, London Stansted, Milan (Bergamo), Paris-Beauvais, Pisa, Rome (Ciampino) and Stockholm Skavsta.
- You can also fly to Krakow (Poland) from Birmingham, Dublin, Dusseldorf, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, London Stansted, Milan (Bergamo), Oslo (Torp), Shannon, Stockholm Skavsta.
British Airways -->
- If you want to fly from Heathrow or Gatwick (with British Airways) then you can use Vienna as the landing point in Europe. There is an excellent coach service from Vienna airport to Bratislava, which takes just under one hour. Your can hire a car and a firm will be happy to meet you at Bratislava bus station. The advantage of flying to Vienna is one of choice - there are over a dozen flights in and out each day. Prices are also reasonable if you buy over the Internet, and do not mind taking an early flight

- You can fly to Katowice from London Luton.
- You can also fly to Budapest from London Luton.
Train - You can travel to Poprad by train and then hire a car or use public transport to get to Vel'ka Lomnica. There are about eight trains a day from Bratislava; the journey time depends on the train you catch, but typically it will take around five hours.
